Upcoming Special Events and Workshops

• The July theme for our Exploring Spirit weekly gatherings is A Midsummer Night’s Dreamwork. From enhancing creative problem solving to providing inner guidance and wisdom, dreamwork is a powerful vehicle for spiritual and psychological growth. For the spiritual student, discovering the significance of a dream is not only exciting but can be instrumental in deepening our spiritual understanding. Viewing a dream in the context of our spiritual journey enables us to determine where we are on our journey and what our next step needs to be. We encounter the places where we resist our growth, as well as our inherent and deep spiritual potential, which waits only for our willingness.

Exploring Spirit takes place every Monday from 6 to 7:30 PM, and is open to all. It consists of a brief introduction of the weekly topic, open discussion, followed by cleansing passes administered by the healing staff. Refreshments are served after the gathering. Take advantage of this opportunity to build continuity, depth and community as you enrich your personal spiritual journey. This weekly gathering is open to all and always FREE.

• A New Earth by Eckhardt Tolle is the subject of a new weekly drop-in study group. We ran a study group on this book when it first came out, but by “popular demand” (largely due to the recent, wonderful online series by Oprah Winfrey), we’re doing it again! This profoundly spiritual work is sure to spark new insights and personal discoveries as we read and discuss it together. Every Thursday, 5:30 - 7 PM. $5 donation

• Australian Song Flag Workshop: With Minmia, an Aboriginal senior woman, grandmother, educator, artist and healer; and Sue Ewart, a Celtic/Australian woman. Song Flags are the aboriginal equivalent to the wonderful Tibetan Prayer Flags. "Singing things up" is akin to praying, meditating, calling in your totem energies for guidance, protection or help. Immerse yourself into the totems of Australia, connect with these amazing animals and paint their colorful symbols on your own Song Flags and call in healing. Sunday, July 6, 10 am – 4 pm. $90 covers instruction and materials.

• Energy Rites of the Peruvian Q’ero: Christine Hart, a Board Certified Family Physician, is engaged in the healing ways of Incan Shaman. After receiving the powerful Munay-Ki from Peruvian Q’ero she was admonished to share these energetic transmissions with others. These rites pass information from person to person and raise humans’ energetic state. After receiving them you will be able to transmit them to others. This is a workshop in four weekly sessions, beginning Thursday, July 17, 7:30 – 10 PM for 4 consecutive Thursdays, ending on August 7. $200 for all four sessions.

• Holotropic Breathwork: a FREE introductory lecture with Diane Magliolo and Allyson Troffer. This powerful technique, pioneered by the efforts and visions of Dr. Stanislav Grof and Christina Grof, is based in modern consciousness research, depth psychology, and various spiritual practices. A highly experiential method, Holotropic Breathwork accesses non-ordinary states of consciousness through a combination of deep relaxation, enhanced breathing, evocative music, and focused bodywork. This allows access to a variety of possible experiences ranging from issues from our current life, childhood or birth, as well as beyond the personal realm. Friday, July 18, 7 – 8:30 PM.

• Special Movie Presentation: Yesterday’s Children: Based on a true story about reincarnation and starring Jane Seymour, Claire Bloom and Hume Cronyn. A mother’s haunting dreams lead her to another place, another time, and a mysterious past…her own. Are they dreams…or memories? Friday, July 25, 7 PM. Tickets: $10

• Holistic Consultation with Andrea Vianna, MD. Dr. Vianna is a Board Certified Holistic Physician who integrates different approaches such as acupuncture, nutrition, and vibrational medicine to bring the patient to health in body, mind and spirit.
