What is Kardec Spiritist Healing?

The Caritas Spiritist Center is pleased to offer healing sessions by appointment utilizing Kardec Spiritist Healing (KSH). KSH is a form of energy medicine that can promote healing when utilized independently or as a complement to traditional medical care. It can enhance the healing of physical illness, acute or chronic pain, depression, and grief.

An important distinction of KSH as an alternative healing approach is that the energy work itself is considered to be only part of the healing process. The state of an individual’s emotional, mental, and spiritual health are considered vital factors in one’s ability to heal and maintain health. Thus, each person is encouraged to take an active role in his/her healing by:
• addressing spiritual and emotional levels as well physical
• reflecting on the ways in which each may be contributing to the current condition
• addressing these issues through inner work and growth

The Caritas Spiritist Center offers a variety of study groups, workshops and spiritual counseling to assist the individual in these efforts. Many of our services are offered at no charge.

Kardec Spiritist Healing is practiced in centers throughout Brazil where it has been the prevalent form of alternative medicine for the past 150 years. There are literally thousands of healing centers throughout Brazil employing this form of energy work. The Brazilian medical community has conducted extensive research on the effects of Kardec healing; and as a result, there are numerous Brazilian hospitals where physicians and healers work side by side. Research is also ongoing at many Spiritist centers throughout Brazil.
